Structural Project Engineer

Full Time

Location: Bristol, PA (Hybrid Role – Field + Remote)

We’re seeking a Structural Engineer that is AT LEAST within a year or so of licensure to join our growing team. If you’re looking for meaningful, hands-on work and want to be part of a collaborative, close-knit team, this is a great opportunity. You’ll support a wide range of residential and commercial projects—from residential assessments, to full new construction builds with all construction phase support, to structural steel detailing.
You’ll work both independently and alongside our principal to assess structures, develop reports and designs, and guide clients through permit or construction processes. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to grow with a fast-moving firm.
As a Structural Engineer at StructurePRO, you’ll play a hands-on role in the following:
  • Conduct on-site structural inspections for homes, additions, damage assessments, and code compliance. Philadelphia L&I experience a PLUS.
  • Analyze framing, foundations, and load paths to develop engineering solutions utilizing Eneracalc, RAM FEA, and RISA.
  • Prepare calculations for AHJ submittals. Utilizing ASCE, AISC, NDS, IRC, IBC, etc.
  • Provide structural steel detailing and plan development utilizing AutoCAD. MUST be proficient in AutoCAD with at least 4,000 hours in CAD (2 full years). Ideally, in a structural engineering firm or capacity.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, builders, architects, and local code officials
  • Coordinate across project timelines to ensure deliverables stay on schedule
  • Support L&I filings, Make-Safe investigations, L&I special inspections, and more
  • Work closely with internal team members to ensure accuracy and code compliance. Serve as the internal check for the principal.
The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats — from on-site evaluations to code review to final documentation — and thrives in a flexible, collaborative work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 4–6 years of structural design experience (residential structures a must)
  • Active PE license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, or ability to obtain one within 12 months
  • Proficiency in structural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent
  • Ability to balance fieldwork, office tasks, and occasional remote work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Project Manager (Entry-Level)

Full Time

Location: Bristol, PA (Hybrid Role – Office + Remote + Occasional Field Visits)

We’re hiring a Project Manager to support our engineering team and help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who’s detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to learn the ins and outs of structural engineering project delivery.
You’ll work closely with our structural engineers and clients, helping manage timelines, collect project documentation, coordinate permits, and keep things moving forward. No two days will look the same—and you’ll be exposed to real-world design, permitting, and construction processes from the ground up.
As a Project Manager at StructurePRO, you’ll serve as the logistical hub between clients, engineers, contractors, and municipalities. While you don’t need a technical background in engineering, you should be comfortable learning fast, staying organized, and communicating clearly.
  • Assist engineers in managing active project timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and municipalities to collect required documents
  • Help prepare and submit permit packages, letters, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain project records, organize files, and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Schedule site visits and inspections with clients and engineers
  • Track project status and assist in ensuring deadlines are met
  • Support invoicing, client follow-ups, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Participate in internal project meetings and assist with planning/scheduling
We’re looking for someone who thrives on organization and communication, with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to grow. You don’t need years of experience—we’re ready to train the right person.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn industry tools, codes, and processes
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with construction, permitting, or architectural/engineering firms is a plus
